There is supposed to be a power outage happening around my place in less than a minute, so I'll try to keep this post brief (yeah right!).

And I know that a lot of people have been complaining about the new writer, and I don't necessarily think it's as bad as they're all saying it is, but I do notice a difference. The characters seem to have changed a little and it's definitely not as funny; he just doesn't have the same wacky references and funny one-liners the other writers whose names I'm not even going to try to spell always wrote in. But I think the show started declining last year, so I'm not really going to place too much blame on him. It's not that the show's bad, it's just... I don't know, it's been on for so long, I think they've sort of exhausted most of the plot lines they can use. Although if Jess came back and stole Rory away from Jess, I wouldn't mind if it stayed on for a few more years.
But, hey, if you want a GG friend, I watch it every week. I'm extremely loyal to shows I had an emotional attachment to at any point.
