This was really sweet! I love the reason Coulson was a catcher too lol, and all the Fitz and Simmons banter.

Ok, I love this fic. I have probably re-read it at least 5 times now (this from a person who has only re-read maybe 3 books in her lifetime). You do such a great job of putting us in Skye's shoes, feeling how frustrated and excluded she feels and how the need to *help* and *be useful* for the team is just as much a fuel for her negative emotions as the fact that she isn't able to help with a mission focused on something that might be related to her past, if not more so. We also get to see both Coulson's underlying concern for Skye and how he works all-out to shield/exonerate her and keep her away from the people trying to find her, and how he becomes, as Skye put it in the The Hub, "a robot version of himself", focused on the mission, going by the book and giving out as little information as possible/only the bare minimum everyone needs to do their jobs. And of course, as Skye gets more and more upset and Coulson gets less and less communicative, you know that Skye will eventually misinterpret something Coulson does or says and ( ... )
