I love this fic. I love the way that Neville appears in Aberforth's life: filthy, flustered and stammering apologies. I love the way that Aberforth starts out very much against getting involved beyond providing a safe haven and food, though they haven't got a chance! I love that Neville is the reason he has for fighting in the end, even though he is still telling himself that they haven't got a chance. And I am getting very emotional thinking about Alice and Frank and just how proud they would have been of Neville, who is absolutely wonderful ♥
