wow, that is steep, isn't it? I do want to go at some point, I am going to follow that other group and just see how things go, where my finances are as it gets closer, etc. :-)

Sounds like a plan. I think you've got six months before you have to make the deposit.

I hadn't realized it was that expensive... I could buy a new (used) car for that, so I don't plan on going, either. I'll consider myself very lucky to have gotten to see the museum exhibit, very lucky.

Plus, I do have some New Zealand rocks and Orc rags someone gave me, so I can live vicariously. :)

Yeah, I've been pretty frightened of the prices, especially since I think my computer is breathing its last and needs to be replaced.

I'd still like to go again ... but definitely not next year. Perhaps 2010 might be a good year! Be prudent to see how Hobbit filming is going to impact touring sites.
