Well, first I cut up some potatoes with the waffle-cutter, and put them in the deep-fryer. While they are frying, I microwave some bacon (I got some pre-cooked bacon at the cut-rate grocer, but it doesn't have much flavor, so once that package is gone, I'm going back to regular) and grate some cheese (right now am also using pre-shredded cheese, but freshly-grated melts better). When the bacon is done cooking, I crumble it up, then pull the fries up out of the fat, toss them on a plate, and sprinkle with bacon and cheese. Yum! They are delicious but time-consuming--without the shortcuts of pre-cooked bacon and pre-shredded cheese, I wouldn't be having them nearly as often.

Lately I have been making bacon-cheese fries almost every day. Much less healthy than what you're having!
