Cultural Festival - THIS WEEKEND
So you've probably by now seen characters talking about a "cultural festival". Basically the idea is to celebrate all the cultures various members of the Deck come from Outside since usually Deck gatherings are solely about Deck culture.
Anyway, it will be taking place throughout the weekend on the Green and I'll probably put up a post for it tomorrow evening (EST time).
There are basically booths for...almost any country you can think of and people have brought arts and crafts, food, clothing, music, all sorts of things that have to do with where they came from. Or their family came from. Or whatever. Quite a few characters are actually running booths or otherwise helping with the festival (Addy, Elani, Zoë [Greek], Victor [Irish], Lexa [Spanish], Elisha [Israel], Fin [the Deck. Blame Addy], Cadogan [Wales], Wren [England], Ben [Scotland], Jimmy [Bulgarian], Katya [Ukraine]).
If you want your character involved and they're not on the list, just comment here and make up a booth for them. If you want a booth that isn't included and your character isn't connected with that culture and you don't want them actually running it...well, comment and we'll say an NPC is running it. :)
Usual caveats apply, slowtime, backtagging are okay, etc.
EDIT: Marie says the Sankarans have an India booth, but Meghana isn't a part of it.
