No, we're not dead

My apologies to all. I've been a bad mod, and been tied up with real-life writing and issues, and haven't been as active here as I'd like.

But ... I'd like to get a couple of things relaunched again, namely both discussions for the Library and some author Q&As ( Read more... )

Just wanted to say how glad I am that this site is still active, it's a gold-mine in all sorts of ways and for all sorts of reasons!

I'd like to nominate, Twenty Years of Stealing My Food by hwshipper. The fic supplied needed backstory for House and Wilson when we didn't have any, and even after canon supplied sketchy background information, it still makes a splendid and satisfying alternative.

I'd like to nominate two of my favorite stories that were posted since the last update (with my apologies for any html issues).

1) Involuntary Commitment by Ignaz Wisdom. This is a darker sequel to the hot and hilarious House/Wilson classic "A Modest Proposal" and takes House to rehab and back (and then back again, heh) much more believably than S6 canon could.

2) Coming to Terms by stenveny. This is the first in a series of fascinating, sensual, snarky House/Cuddy stories set after the end of Season 6. The author writes both House and Cuddy wonderfully in-character and never mistakes simple for easy.

I've got approval from both authors, and will be posting the discussion thread for "Coming To Terms" shortly, and "Involuntary Commitment" next week.
