this is our last night in bs as. went to artemesia (again). went to cafe tortoni, but didn't have reservations for the tango show, so we walked across & up avenida 9 de julio (the world's widest street!), looked at the obelisk, enjoyed the night air. so many mosquitoes, though. i wish i'd been warned. i've been bit more times in the last two days ( Read more... )

1. My cat is dying. His condition worsened, greatly, yesterday. Woke us up 'crying' at 2:30 in the morning; very little movement, not fighting Michael when he picked him up & carried him to the bathroom (where the litterbox is). I'm trying to figure out where we can go over spring break, March 9-16. I'd prefer somewhere warm, and especially want to go to Buenos Aires, but London is cheapest right now, which, therefore, is best. I've never even been beyond Canada, so beggers can't be choosers.
