My car stereo died yesterday after a several day bout with intermittent static. Now I just talk to myself for the entire hour and a half I spend in the car every day. This is much more therapeutic.

Holidays were fun. I re-watched Seasons 2 and 3 of the Wire, read a Belle and Sebastian biography ("rock-ography"? What do you call a book about a band?), and made a couple of mix-CDs which I'm going to revise. Well, I sure was wrong. I guess I expected way too many loose ends to be tied up at the season's close, when in hindsight there was no way all those storylines could be wrapped up and it not feel cheap.
