Well. It's been an odd week. It's one of those weeks where you find out that either you'd forgotten some past drama or totally blown it by, and you realize meh, still better to keep it that way, except someone memorialized it as a way to explain and apologize for it. O.o

ALS is brutal. I had a dutch uncle who was one of the longest-surviving victims until he succumbed about fifteen years ago. I've seen it first-hand. Extremely painful to witness.

*hugs* We keep hoping, now that the MS society has decided to include ALS to its roster, there may be some meaningful improvements in just understanding the disease.

Happy Easter babe! Hope you are having a nice holiday. Even if it is to wet to ride the bike yet. Must post ooodles of pictures and with luck you are much better at staying on a bike then me.
First time I rode one for ten years I sat on my bike and fell right off the other side.

Awe. It is always hard to look at people when you can remember them all full of life and health. But once that first hurdle is jumped, it gets so much more easy to take the next one.
