I have to admit, I was nervous about attending the CMA festival with Letha. I'm NOT a people person, not comfortable being in groups of strangers and I hadn't been camping since I was 6. Moving sucks.

Moving into your OWN space where you can BE yourself... priceless.

I <3 my new freedom.
I <3 finally being able to be ME.

... but moving, it sucks ;)

I was born and raised in Minnesota, went to university in Minneapolis and drove that damn bridge more than once a day for almost two years.

When I saw the first pictures I nearly cried. I don't know anyone living there anymore, but all my prayers are with the people affected by this tragedy.

Also I just made this icon and wanted to drool over it a bit. ;)

So I know that I don't update for a year and then tend to come back just to say... 'Gah! It's been so long since I updated, yadda yadda yadda... I promise to do it more often yadda yadda yadda... and then I dissappear for another year ( Read more... )

i'm only poppin in for a second. surgery went well. Demorol and i don't get along tho. it left me with my ears ringing so loud I couldn't hear for four hours. slept ok in the la-z-boy last night, and am taking tylenol 3's every four hours for the pain. nurses and docs were WONDERFUL.

i'll post more when I can sit here for more than a few seconds.

10am tomorrow! Squeeeee!

I have to be at the clinic an hour earlier, but my surgery is at 10am. I'm not even a little nervous, but I'm excited as hell.

Any prayers and well wishes are welcome. I love you all, and I'll post when I'm home and drugs wear off.
