Wait, could that possibly be-?! There was a smaller cloud of dust racing from the caravan towards Vash! Perhaps someone had heard his plea and sent out a wagon or something to fetch him!

Something...kinda small and...white.

Amaterasu barked happily when she spotted Vash, running in a wide curve to end up running next to him, back towards the caravan. Her mouth hung open in a grin as she looked up at him, continuing to run the whole time. She seemed entirely at ease with both the pace and the current predicament, as if she and Vash were out for an early morning jog together. She could keep him company for a while; besides, all that flailing was really amusing to watch.

When he'd heard the huffing and puffing of someone left behind over the network, Beyond thought maybe, maybe this would be the only time it happened; the only chance he would get to watch someone running behind the caravan. With this in mind, he'd headed back to the entrance.

When he finally arrived to watch the goings-on what he hadn't expected to see was an animal alongside the man whose name he couldn't see. But why beside the man and not chasing him, or carrying him, which was what he'd expect a normal animal to do? Not that it looked normal, those markings...

Well. At least he wouldn't be disappointed for entertainment. With a slightly wicked grin, he waved and waited for any sign that they'd noticed him.

"Ah! Great someone's finally coming back fo-" he stopped himself mid-sentence as he stared at Amaterasu running up towards him. Well it wasn't really help but...it was better than just being left behind.

"Whoa! Hey! So, you decided to run with me huh?" He said with a smile in response to her happy barking. "I thought I'd get left behind." He was even more worried since it seemed his powers weren't as strong here, normally he'd have gotten much closer in the time he'd been running.

"You know I'm not usually like this, aheheh." Scratching the back of his head nervously while still running as fast as he could. Of course, Vash would do stuff like this a lot, but he wasn't exactly going to admit it.

"I really need to get home! D-do you think we can catch up?"

Amaterasu's tail came up and wagged, but that was neither aerodynamic nor very good for her balance, so it only lasted a moment. She could toss the man onto her back and return to the caravan, but they weren't too far behind yet. If they actually seemed in danger of losing track of the caravan she'd rescue him, but until then, if he missed the caravan, he could deal with the consequences long enough to remember to actually board next time.

She could smell Beyond, but Amaterasu could also smell a bunch of other people on the caravan, plus the giant, and the large amount of dust wasn't helping either. Maybe if she notices that his smell stays steady and strong she'll look around for him, but that will take a little bit of time. She's focused on the man next to her who smells delicious, minus the tang of metal and something else she can't identify ( ... )

Jack had heard the call for help on his Junogram but wondered if it were really true that someone did get left behind. He peered out the windows in his room to see that there definitely was a red blur in the distance following the caravan. Hoping he could help, he ran to the lookout and tried waving at the giant and shouting, but his efforts were fruitless and there was no stopping for the unfortunate stranger. He had looked around the tower for rope, but found nothing useful.

He felt horribly disappointed in himself that he couldn't help, so Jack returned to his room and opened a window. The least he could do was cheer the guy on. "HEEY!" he shouted, unsure if the person could hear, "Don't give up! Come ooon! You can do it!"

Vash was running as fast as his long legs could carry him. He wasn't so sure if he could make it, crying and whining to himself as he ran. If he didn't get home, well, that wasn't really an option, but the thought scared him nonetheless.

Upon hearing the shout from Jack he looked up to where he could just see him. The cheering lifted his spirits; someone cared! He actually manage to run faster somehow.

Jack grinned, glad his encouragement seemed to help. He saw that the guy in red seemed to have found renewed energy, so he kept it up, waving and shouting to him. A white blur was next to him, and Jack had to blink a few times before he recognized the wolf from some time ago.

"I guess they're friends?" Jack wondered, but figured it was a good thing that the red guy wasn't alone. "Keep going! You're almost there!" he continued to call.

"Thank you!" Vash shouted back, his face beaming.

He could do this, there was nothing stopping him!

Vash may or may not have seen Church in the distance butif he did he didn't show it.

Either way he carried on running as fast as he could, his expression showing determination. He could do this, nothing was causing trouble for him...
