I first started visualizing cops as real people when I went on a ride along in 12th grade. I remember a case where a mother of two children was conning neighbors into giving her money through some kind of a scheme. She'd made at least $200. The officer I was with wanted her to get up to $300 or so...that way they can get her for grand theft. A
