Sudafed is what messed with your blood pressure, so you shouldn't be taking it anyway. That's what the 'D' is in Clariton D.

So the $4000 came out of your pocket? How does that work? I'm glad you got the problem fixed, though.

And you have internet - yay!

My ENT recommended Sudafed when I had all those ear problems. It doesn't seem to be bothering my BP quite as much now (not noticing any issues). I hate taking things with antihistamines because they make me feel "floopy" (to quote Phoebe from Friends). I'm actually trying an herbal therapy. If it works, I'll share the link (it's specific to Las Vegas and all the pollens here).

As for the drain line, it was a "pre-existing condition" and therefore not covered by any insurance (homebuyer's warranty or homeowner's insurance). So ... there you go.

(Did you get the email I just sent at work or home? I forgot to check where it was going.)

Seems to me a "homebuyer's warranty" ought to cover pre-existing conditions, as otherwise, what's the point? It should guarantee that you're buying a home without hidden problems. But I guess that would make too much sense.

New problems are for homeowner's insurance.

I got the original e-mail at home, but the cc at work.
