Sorry for the late critique. You probably needed it earlier. ;( In my defense, Break's last couple journals started similarly so I thought you hadn't posted yet because yours was in between. >.>

Honestly I think it looks great and other than the unfinished hind leg I'm not too sure what to help you with. The technique you used to give him a furry appearance worked great on the body...torso? Um. I dunno the right term for dogs! I think the little dark hairs look great and give it more.. depth I guess you could say. But at the same time they're abit dark in contrast to his face and legs, but then, I haven't played Evermore in so long. So that might be right, and either way, I wouldn't change it - because it honestly looks great.

To Necro- Yea, blame me. XP

To Hollow- I've never seen the character before, but from your drawing, it looks like a very neat beast. I love the detail and many hatch marks to define the face (instead of just making few and concrete ones in the eyes, for example). I don't particularly like how the coat looks very oily/wet, but how you did make it is very impressive and definitely shows texture. Proportion looks very heavy in the feet and gives off slow but very powerful.

Why did you need critique on this? It looks great. B)

The angle of approach from between the eyes down to the nose is too slanted downwards -- looks a lot more like an English Terrier's face than it does a wolf.
Nice fur rendering, definitely looks fuzzy. I'd also shrink the eye a little bit and make the mouth a little shorter.

Other than that I like the stance, the wolf looks heavy, as if it's actually standing on the ground.
Good job.

Also you're not Waluigi's Girl are you?
