Ugh torrent pisses me off for so many reasons.mOne, they have models on there they claim are " plus sized" when really they're just average sized women.

Case in point. This woman is MY Size. I normally wear a size medium top and a 12-14 size in juniors pants. and they are calling her plus size!

It pisses me off so much that they are sitting there calling the average woman " plus size"

But5 this takes the cake, tanktopped mumu dresses in terrifying patterns! Yech Dumbasses.

Yeeeahhh...I wonder about that sometimes. I've seen photos of you belly dancing, and you are so not plus-sized. You're healthy and curvy, and quite gorgeous for it. But ye gods...it's like they want everyone who doesn't look emaciated to feel like shit about themselves. Like "OMG YOUR CLOTHES SIZE HAS DOUBLE DIGITS!? TO THE SLIMFAST AISLE WITH YOU"

Yeah they are fucking retarded if they cannot stand a woman with healthy curves who doesn't bemoan the fact her clothing size is in the double digits. Fuck them I am PROUD to be the way I am. Meh to you nay-sayers I say MEH!

Wow, everything old is new again. Bet we could find those same dresses at the thrift stores from the 60s-70s for a few bucks.

ugh, torrid is full of suck lately. i haven't bought anything from them in over two years. with only 2 exceptions: i desperately needed a cropped white sweater to cover this god-awful bridesmade dress a year ago (and the sweater was SO OVERPRICED), and dave bought me a pair of boots for my bday.

their clothes are awful now. have you seen the metallic leggings?!?!?

I have, and whoever thought it was a brilliant idea to market those (PARTICULARLY to fat women) should be shot. I don't know what world they live in, but last I checked, we are not all former 80s glam/hair metal rockers.
