You really captured where I was going with this. Particularly regarding Effy, who even to me, started to come off as a little cunty. But I wanted to make sure her motivations are coming from a fucked up, but well intentioned, place. Also notice Effy never tried to get herself off- she was just, you know, giving her friend a helping hand. Bless Effy and her empathy

I'm a bit of a hopeless twat when it comes to Naomi/Emily. While this is ostensibly Naomi/Effy, it's clear where the real emotional connection lies. OTP and all that.

You already know my feelings on this one, dude, but in case you've forgotten: BRILLIANT. Everyone was incredibly in-character here, and you have a way of exploring the inbetween moments of the show that's unparalleled, really. It's something completely new and awesome (and hot, jesus), but still manages to fit seamlessly into canon.

The Naomi/Katie confrontation is still my favorite bit. Like, seriously, I'm convinced that this happened and we just didn't get to see it. The emotions came across so clearly here, and I just want to squish all three of them to pieces.

I loved the Katie/Naomi confrontation as well- it's been altered very little from the first draft. Katie's just fun, you know? And hot, but you know that one as well ♥

This was really good :) I always felt there was a little something more needed in that episode between Effy and Naomi and this was the perfect missing scene.

I love your characterizations, I think you nailed them all very well. And as always, I love Effy trying to help in her often misguided ways. Her heart normally is totally in the right place.

Loved the interaction with Katie and Naomi. I feel there should have been more scenes between them on the show, especially after Ep7. It would have made sense for Katie to tell Naomi to back off a lot sooner after JJ accidentally blurted out about Emily being gay, then for her to wait until the love-ball.

I'm glad it felt canon-like- I'm a total stickler for canon and IC behaviour, so for this story to achieve this makes me ecstatic . You also are spot on with Effy- she DOES give a shit, but is in a terrible funk right now and can only use her superpowers for evil at present. I happen to think when she saw Naomi cowering on the ground with HBIC looming over her she was filled with remorse, poor, fun sponge loving, poppet.

Yeah, I agree canon missed an opportunity for more Katie/Naomi conflict. I hope we get a lot more it next year, otherwise I'll just have to write some to make up for it.

And I have a whole bunch of stories to write over the uni holidays, so I'll be hopefully updating more often (I'm going to get around to reading your latest ASAP, but the two chapters I have read are heartbreaking. Oh, Naomi :()
