My List of Inspirations

Oct 09, 2007 13:20

Seeing as I've been a lump and generally uninspired as of recently, I decided to sit down and make a list of things I would like to do or see or be in my life, some short term, some long term. When I have caught myself sitting, being lumpy, I've read through my list, and it has served as an inspiration to not sit and do nothing. I thought I would ( Read more... )

wow, i like your list. it's inspired me to do one. sometimes when life gets so hectic or when you are going through a slumpy period, you can always look at the list and say "hey i have something i can do!" :)

haven't talked to you in years. hope all is well. i'm in orlando now (well, right outside of orlando is a small town called sanford). i'm in grad school at UCF and teach kindergarten at a charter school about 20 minutes from daytona beach. my fiance and i just bought a house in sanford, and we're working on planning our may 11 wedding. soo nervous. it's just weird how time flies.

how have you been?

Building websites are fun, and actually a really good stress reliever...until you realize that something is mispelled and you have to find out why the stinkin menu isn't working.

Sorry about that, I thought I was logged in. Yes, websites...fun stuff. I think the best part is picking out the color scheme.

'-Own cool looking clothes, as to not appear to be a slob.'

This sounds very Bridget Jones-esque.

I like your list & am thinking that it would be beneficial for me to do the same [poser!] since I've just now accepted the fact that it's okay to have plans that don't work out & am also annoyed when I find myself being lumpy, though I haven't much time for it as of late.

whee.

Actually...I *don't* happen to like this list.
It calls to mind once upon a time when a certain ex of yours and you wrote out your concerns for your relationship.

His all started with: "I feel/think..."
Yours all started with: "We feel/think..."

Can't handle this.
Oh well.
And #31 made me cry.

p.s. and I don't even want to post this for fear of what people will think. fuck everybody.

I see your point & definitely recall that episode. Eek.

I would say that two lists should exist. One for own personal intents, the other dedicated to the dyad.

The individual lists where they correspond, those are added to the dyadic lists, you know?

I like the idea of writing out goals, because otherwise, it's so much harder to accomplish them. That's why I love lists. But lists have to keep everything in mind, hence relationships.

I have lists of things I want to do: period.

I have lists that I want to do with you.

I have lists that I want to do with Ryan.

I just haven't written them down.

Kudos to Aaron for writing them, but you're right that more should exist.

-Pull a heist.

I still have the key mentioned in our previous heist planning. It could still happen.

I just started a hardcore ska/punk band, so when we get big, yu can tour with us and photograph us, Aaron.

I can teach you skateboarding.

I'm totally down for squatting with you, and pulling a heist with you.

That is all.
