very interesting. I'm curious to see where you go next. We have Ianto's childhood trauma... will we get some more? Or will we turn to Jack?

Oh dear, now I'm scared about what's coming next. And you made me cry over Ianto's childhood Christmas...that'll teach me to read these at work! LOL

the day 26 quote took over- it really did seem to need a very sad segment.

and we all prefer poor ianto to be broken, so it had to start early.

I found the ending very ominous . . . very ominous.

Oh poor thing, he really is going through the wars. I found the descriptions very graphic, especially of the lack of oxygen. I have one of those adrenalin auto injections for allergies and am never sure if I would be brave enough to use it, he really was very brave and level headed in that bit. Also to have the oxygen nearby. I like the idea of him being the same organised person in all realities.

those epi-stim pens are real life savers. i always have a couple in the 'frig for emergencies since i have some terrible allergic reactions. i even used one on my dog once when he got bit by a spider.

it is a bit of a rush for about ten seconds, but if you were really in anaphylaxis you'd quickly get over any concerns.

i figure the hub would have fire fighting stations spread out like we usually have fire alarms. considering they'd have to do most of the work themselves, oxygen masks seemed a given. and its obvious that ianto would be in charge of maintenanc.

Oh thanks for that, it's reassuring to hear actually, I haven't been able to imagine using my epi pen, I go to great lengths to avoid anything I'm allergic to. I think it's denial really, the allergy consultant wanted me to join anaphylaxis support groups and I chose to stick my fingers in my ears instead. I use antihistamines a lot as well.

being allergic to peanuts makes for a miserable life in the states. everything may/might have come in contact with peanut products here! the antihistamines work well for minor contamination (like pasta! pasta comes in contact with peanuts? apparently major manufacturers 'blend' their olive oil with peanut oil- oh joy.)
