I must say that this comes as rather a shock to me, as I was unaware until very recently that Dr. Maturin was resigning. That said, I've grown rather attached to the Potions Lab, so I appreciate your offer and I would prefer to stay if it's all right with you.
And of course, I certainly won't expect your methods to be the same -- mine certainly aren't.
