April blizzard; and my dreamlife pays off.

Apr 11, 2007 06:49

Woke up this morning feeling eleventy percent better than when I went to bed last night. Suffice to say that my psyche was not in a happy spot yesterday, and that counseling, grad school, money, my allergies, my mother, my friend Jenn, and I spent much of the day kicking it when it was down. (If I'm going to be fair, I should take my mother off ( Read more... )

Yay for SPN dreams! Thanks for your email t'other day, btw. I have downloaded the chapter you sent but not had time to read as of yet: work and writing CVs and I got so tired of relatives asking what I was planning on doing after graduating and then laughing at my desire to work for Dr Who down in Cardiff so dammit I've found out the name of the Production Designer and I am sending him a letter and my CV that will MAKE him WANT to employ me. Or...at least let me come for some work experience. Maybe. Please. (Hey, did you see how I went a whole ginormous sentence without a single comma?! Grammar, I am not your bitch! Ha ha!)

But of course, this means having to write an 'EMPLOY ME NOW, BITCH!' letter without sounding arrogant and also, without the 'Bitch', cos I don't think that would work in my favour. *sigh*

I'm glad you're feeling happier today. And who wouldn't - hot Dean dream? Yes please! And Lolz, oh Sammy, in his short trousers and horrible scrubs-like shirt.
Anyway, go play in the snow! Love you!
x.

You totally should make the Doctor Who folk hire you. That would be SO awesome! And yes, you should probably leave the "bitch" part out. Though maybe that would catch their attention. Hmm...

"Playing in the snow" (aka: getting to and from my car) has rendered my shoes and socks soaking wet. Socks are now hanging from my desk drawer to dry.

No worries about the chapter. Enjoy when you get the time. I should put "enjoy" in sarcastic quotes. It's not actually a rollicking good time.

Love you too!

Heh! Isn't it amazing how refreshed a 'verse dream can leave you? (if it's not a horrible nightmare, that is.)

I tend to dream quite often in 'verse mode, and the most weird moment is when a character from a fandom I've left behind (ex Michael from La Femme Nikita) suddenly shows up while in my dream there are the Winchesters and starts asking why I've been neglecting him and his verse. *facepalm*

I know, I know. Those narratology/ontology classes in uni years ago are to blame. *sigh*

Enjoy your snow, sweetie! :)

I do a fair amount of dreaming where actors or characters show up, but rarely (these days) dreams where I'm watching an episode of whatever it is. I do love it when it happens, though. *treasures that old series of dreams where Dom comforted me because he knew I was heartbroken because Billy didn't love me back*

And his jeans were horrifically short. Like, way above the anklebone short.

AHAHAHA.
That image is CHOCK FULL OF LOLZ.
Oh man.
At least it wasn't combined with sandles and freshly cleaned socks.

glad your psyche is giving you a break, :)

I know! I woke up smiling because of it. And, no, no sandals and socks, but instead it was his cute S1 tennies with no socks. Bony ankles on that boy :-)

My psyche and I thank you. We're giving each other some space.

Also, OMG TITTER!!
