I wish we could watch Project Runway but bloody Sky took it from terrestrial TV D:

I use Twitter quite a lot these days - far too much, on some days. I haven't tried Google+, is it any good?

Noooooo why?! Damn you Sky! *shakes fist*

It's alright - very quiet as no one is really using it! But since I have gmail, and use Google Chrome it's quite easy to keep tabs on. I like it well enough.

I don't have the patience for a twitter. Nor the time to even tweet! Hah!

Ah, I should try it since I use Chrome too ^^

I use twitter as a chat thing rather than anything else. It's terrible if I'm procrastinating and one of my friends is also online as we can spend entirely too much time writing rubbish at each other!

I'm still here in a sense!
I don't post nearly as often as I used to, but I do read my f-list every day.
I'm watching Modern Family still, I've liked it so far.

I know! *hugs*
I try to read LJ once a week due to how busy I am.
Ok, so I need to catch up with that too! Gah too many shows, no time!

Oh god, not this season of Project Runway? Cause it's pretty horrible and makes me weep for the old days of the show.

I would totally, however, read Project Runway: Avengers. Though really, Loki would totally win the whole things. He's an honorary Avenger. He gets to compete.

It sucks when good fanfic goes bad.

I try to watch the other seasons when I see them on? This season is making me angry because Joshua is still there and he needs to go the fuck home! >8(

Well, I was wondering if Loki should be a JUDGE or a designer contestant...*ponders*

It really does. I think most of my anger is gone but I was really upset about it last night. That should teach me for getting invested in written works.

You really need to see seasons 1-4. That was when the show was really full of talented, interesting designers and was actually about DESIGN and not whatever shitty styling Lifetime wants to force down our throats. The move to Lifetime pretty much killed PR.

Loki would be a pretty brutal judge. How long do you think it would take before he has Tony wanting to drink himself to death and cry in the corner?

I foresee me torrenting these seasons so I can see them. I was wondering why it was on Lifetime...I expected it to be on Style or something.

True...he would make Tony cry, and Thor would have issues trying to NOT assault a judge. XD;

I hope school is going well for you! Sounds like a good place to be at 27 to me: on your way to a career you want~

I'm OK--still teaching elementary schools and still hate it but am prepared to be in Japan for another year so I can join you as a back-to-schooler.

It is! It's a little overwhelming sometimes but then I just buckle down, get stuff done, and move on to the next thing. I just feel like...mmm...I dunno. I don't wanna be starting a career when I'm 30. I thought I would have already been in one by now.

*hugs* You can do it Mark! And when you get back, we can bemoan our fate of still being stuck in school in order to reach our lifetime goals!

Hey! I know this is a bit random and all since it's not as if we talked all the time or anything, and so I hope this doesn't come off as too weird, but you kind of seemed like the best person TO talk to. I kind of really enjoyed hearing all your stories about teaching in Japan, and for years, I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do. O was pretty stagnant in a lot of things.

But now I'm actually back and school and gearing to work towards a bachelor's degree and a TESOL certification! Which I hope is the best path, because I'd really like to make something of it if I can, you know? So that's where I've been. I always sort of sucked at school and now I'm actually putting a lot of effort in so yeah - thanks for inadvertantly telling epic stories and helping to give me that extra nudge. :3

Well you certainly are welcome! While I do no advise working as an ALT in Japan unless you are hired by the JET program or directly by a city's board of education, I am all for teaching. It's what I am going to graduate school for after all!
