Aww the last line! This was super sweet and so very autumn. I kind of want Harry and Ginny to buy the house because it sounds super awesome. I love the details of Harry's family, so fun!

You know, I didn't want to have a definitive end for the house. For some reason I just liked the idea of leaving it open-ended. That said. I rather hope they decide to buy it, too. :-)

Thanks so much!

This is wonderfully written and the imagery it evokes - wow! I just love that James was a scoundrel - and a vandal too, apparently - LOL. And the way you wrote Harry - *sigh* - makes me love him even more for being so vulnerable and so willing to open up to Ginny, who's really perfect for him in every way. Great job, mystery author.

I do love how alive Harry and Ginny are. What a perfect ending-

It’s then that she sees it, while looking at the muted colors of the back garden, etched in tiny print along a beam of one of the windows. James was here.
With a small smile she pulls out her wand, holding it loosely for only a second before she carves in tiny penmanship, right underneath. Harry and Ginny were here, too.
