Momoko was sitting in the hospital cafeteria, waiting for Mrs Reyes to get a break. She'd left a note at the Nurses station, but hadn't gone into detail - just mentioned that she needed to talk to her about something important

"It looked so tasty! The pie was totally the wrong colour." Momoko smiled and waved. "I'm sorry to bother you at work; you won't get in trouble, will you?"
"Ah, but it's always so dry," Bianca pointed out with a smile and a shake of her head.
"And, no, querida, I won't get in trouble. I can take a break." She sat down, eyes serious and concerned. "And what's so important that you show up without calling first?"
"Well," Momoko made a face and poked at the cake with her fork. "You know how I've said before that in my world I'm a hero?" She kept her voice low both out of secrecy and out of nervousness. "And a police officer? Well, uhm. I found out that I can't actually be both, so I kind of had to choose. And uhm. I quit being a police officer."
She glanced up at Mrs Reyes. "I wasn't happy, you know? I was helping people, but not in the way I needed to."
