The Windows Memory Diagnostic is failing all over the place. This is annoying, but does suggest that the problem is more likely to be the RAM than, say, imminent hard drive failure (although god knows one should never entirely discount the possibility of imminent hard drive failure ( Read more... )

So! Reassembling The New Computer officially takes precedent over any and all plans that I had for the rest of the weekend. Except grading, which I cannot weasel out of, more's the pity.

I'm home before 9 pm for the first time this week. I hardly know what to do with myself other than luxuriate in the mere fact of not being in my office.
