I love how you write Ichigo as hesitant and still characteristically dense (especially regarding the giggling!) and Rukia distracted and growing careless, as usual, whenever she's worried about him.
I'm glad this chapter didn't have more on the other woman [growl] but I know she might pop up again sometime. Ditto for Renji, although I do feel for him. I love the way you mentioned Rukia considering his offer but hesitates. She's not one to settle for second-best.
And yes, I agree -- the fight scene's sexy. XD Fighting is just foreplay for them!

One of the fun but challenging things about writing them in the future is letting them have grown but still be themselves. But Ichigo will always be dense, and distraction has always been a weakness of Rukia's, wah.
I'm not saying what Rukia tells Renji yet, but she's definitely not gonna go to him if she thinks she's just waiting it out for Ichigo. She's not that mean. :D

One thing I really liked was the sparring session! Well, actually I was hoping that Ichigo and Rukia would have such a great fight that they'd have to draw their swords, and that Ichigo would let himself be hurt by Shirayuki in order to kiss Rukia... But it still was AWESOME, the tension build-up is very well and tastefully done, and yet keeping in character!
And yeah, poor Renji... ;___; Tell him I'm available to comfort him, ok?
