I am offering a yarn and/or spinning fiber "swap box". I offered one of these for Help Haiti and it seemed to go over well, so I'm offering TWO here.
If you've ever participated in a swap, you know what I'm talking about. If you never have, here's a way of seeing what it's like. It's a mystery box of yarn and/or fiber and other goodies tailored to the recipients tastes. There will be at least one skein of hand dyed wool or wool/nylon yarn or 8oz of hand dyed Corriedale roving in the box. The rest of the goodies depends on how high the bidding goes. Box items may include stitch markers, beads or notions, baked goods or candy, something knit or sewn or both.
The winning bidder will be asked to answer a short list of questions.

We've just notified the winning bidder(s), and asked them to connect with you directly, or with us, to confirm their donation. Once they do, you can get started on your Offering, or ship it to them, or whatever suits the circumstances.
Once a winning bidder has sent you confirmation of his or her donation, we would ask that you please drop us a line at our donation confirmation station using the template there: http://community.livejournal.com/help_pakistan/5953.html -- this will help with our record keeping and putting together the final tally.
If you have any questions, ask them here; if you haven't heard from the Winning Bidder by Tuesday September 7th, and you've tried to contact him or her yourself, let us know there, too

User Name: Eponymousanon Email address: epon.anon123 at gmail YM/AIM/Gtalk/ICQ (optional): You can see things I've created at: I don't have any links, but I'm always in charge of dessert offerings at family gatherings which I think is a decent recommendation :D Most of my recipes come from the Good Housekeeping Baking Book.
I am offering: 2 dozen cookies, or 1 batch of muffins/cupcakes/mini cakes/bread. I can do bar cookies, drop cookies, shaped cookies, if you have allergies/dietary preferences I can try and work with them. If you want something I've never tried before I'm totally willing to discuss recipes and give it a try. I'm known for my Lemon Ginger Shortbread.
Additional Info (optional): I'll pay for USPS postage; I wouldn't suggest trying to get cookies via airmail. Cookies won't be made/shipped until late September if you want them ASAP; I won't have access to a kitchen until then. If you want them shipped for a later date I can do that.
