haven't been on lj in forever.... seems like there is an abundance of people getting proposed to and/or getting married in my flist. and i'm still....searching; still lost. i hate the stigma that's attached with being older and still single. obviously there must be something wrong with me since i have no one that cares for me or loves me outside ( Read more... )

Hey, I'm 27! At least I still look young. Ahh! The problem of pain!!??? Not a christian apologetic work!

Just as the laws of production suggest, that we can have two of the following, "cheap, high quality, and quick" It's likely that if there is a god, you can only have 2 of the following; Omniscient (all knowing), Omnipotent, (all powerful), and benevolent (good)

You cannot have all three of these things without necessarily redefining the word good to something that no longer means anything to us. I can redefine good to allow/include such things like famine or childhood lukemia, but is this helpful?

see i don't know what i believe in anymore and my friend sent me this book because he knows i'm going through some difficult stuff right now and thought of me when he read the book. he already told me that in sending me this book that he wasn't trying to push his beliefs on me, he just thought that maybe i could find some kind of direction because i seem to be lost right now. so i dunno, i take everything with a grain of salt so don't expect me to convert into any christian ways/beliefs.

I always took you as a pantheist or something. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pantheism

hmm...that's very interesting.... but like i said above, i'm not really sure what i believe in any more. i think we are born and die and decay and then eventually are reborn. i think the one thing i do believe in is reincarnation.... but i don't hold any strong belief in one religion/spirituality or another.
