Oh! [ blinks for a sec before beaming back ] Hiya!

Uh, sorry for the call out of the blue?

No, it's okay. It's, um. [How to say that it's completely normal here to have people call like that?] I'm used to it.

Eh? really?! Hey, that's actually kinda cool. Sorta futuristic, I guess. [ small laugh, but she pauses a bit at that last part ]

So says the address book on this thing. [ camera shakes a bit as she shakes the phone ] Does everyone have one of these things? This isn't my regular cellphone, that's for sure.

Shaking the phone isn't going to do anything. [She sighs.] But to answer your question, yes, everyone gets one of these things upon their arrival here. There's a welcome letter that might help to explain some of what's going on to you.
