How typical for a Monday morning - Little Three got up complaining that she had a headache and felt sick! Oh great... I didn't want to risk sending her to school only to get a phonecall to fetch her home again, when I was in Middlewich, so I phoned Mum, and Little Three went to visit her for the duration of college. Ooh, I love all that 'how teams work' stuff! We did a lot of it on a course I went on last spring, and it was extremely interesting.

I did all that on a management training course & am on chairman, so beware :p It's very true, as I love to organise things & be in charge, but can't be arsed to get on with all the fiddly little things.

Holly has an upset tummyhis evening, she's not had a day off sick yet, her being ill 4 days before I go back to work isn't a good sign. t

Hehe, I'm the other way around, I hate being in charge but love being told what to do and getting on with the fiddly stuff!

Oh no, I can so relate to ill children and needing to be somewhere else. I really hope she is better by the time your job starts.

The useful thing about learning & seeing which category I fell in, was that a sucessful team needs people from all the areas, so they are all just as valid.

It's useful now, as a TA role is no good for me long term, as I work best when I'm running things.

Holly seems fine today, phew!

I vaguely remember some waffle about forming, norming, storming and performing!

Ooh yes we learned about that! And when the group has served its purpose, you also get deforming and mourning!
