This weekend was for celebrating Mya's last final. It was also for meeting the infamous Richie, who is getting married this week, and toasting my brother at the Red Dragon (something about him fundamentally running the company or something...). Saturday was for reading Sherant's blogathon posts and watching her awesome work process. Then it was ( Read more... )

Know any art students? When I was one, I had constant access to matting equipment and could get away with matting anything without anyone so much as blinking an eye.

I've considered that, but don't (think) I know any art students, although who knows who has a mat cutter when you least expect it. I do still want it framed, though, and can't do that myself.

windelina's husband Chris works at a framing shop. Might be a good place to start.

off topis- what's the most reliable way to get a hold of your mom? I have tubs of old costumes- a few pieces are hers, and then I have tons of stufff I made that I'll never use, so I was wondering if she or Clann Tartan might have use for them. I didn't get a response to emails I sent awhile back

Geez. Who knows with her, sometimes. If you want to hand them off to me, I can pass them on to her. Otherwise, I'll give her your phone number and nag her. Sorry she didn't return your e-mails; that's usually the best way to get a hold of her, but she may have her spam settings up really high or something.

Ha. You never have *me* over for dinner!

And based on how I reacted to the steak that Doug'n'Ellie brought over - that's probably a good thing...

No, I haven't had you guys over for dinner *yet*.

And based on how hot our apartment got when I cooked last weekend, it may be gazpacho...
