The option for reposting is still there. The problem is that the little CSS code doesn't work if you've disabled customized comment pages (which is what gives you the nice white background instead of the comment pages in the journal style). You have to undisable it.

Which took me an hour to figure out last night. XD I hated having to do it myself cause I like the nice white clean looking comment pages. And it took me about a week (cause I'm an idiot) to figure out how to even get them. *sigh* But I had to undisable them for both my community and my own journal until livejournal gets rid of this option or I make the move to dreamwidth (which I don't want to do cause someone bought me a years worth of paid time for my lj as a birthday present).

Sorry, I'm rambling. I just thought I'd let you know that the lj fix you did isn't working. Sorry!

What I learned to do was add

.b-repost-item {display:none}

at the end of whatever Custom CSS you have. And then go under your Journal Style, choose customize selected theme, then under display then presentation then basic options make sure that Disable customized comment pages for your journal is set to no. Then it should work.

I am sooooo sorry to bother you...would it be to much to ask whether this has worked now?...I just did as you said...did it work? cause I had another script in CSS that was supposed to do this....so I just pasted your code straight after that now (should I have left a space in between?!)....the disabled customised comment box was already set to no. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!! :)
