You might remember waaay back ages ago I was scoping out your site to use for an event of my own (err. whatever -- I feel funny saying it like that, lol). I am pretty stuck for a site this year as I haven't been thrilled with the places we went in 2007 and 2009. Is there any space on the calendar in the fall, sometime in September or October, where we could use Stone City for a Thursday through Sunday event? (I may already be occupied on Labor Day weekend and I assume the Equinox and Samhain are off-limits.)

I do remember! Yes, we have space in the fall calendar. Actually we aren't booked for fall Equinox. Some years we do an Equinox gathering of our own, some years we don't. I tend to not put it on the calendar firmly at the beginning of the year like we do with Beltaine and Samhain, and then I tend to play it by ear depending on how much interest there seems to be vs. whether someone else wants to use the site. So anyway, long story short, right now we are pretty open in the fall with the exception of Samhain weekend itself, which we're doing on the 29th-31st. And would be happy to host your group. It's an Otherkin gathering, yes?

That'd be the stuff. In terms of the weirdness of the attendees and the likely activities, it's pretty similar to a Pagan do. Should I email you at thestonecity@gmail with further practical questions?

Yes! That's the address. Don't worry, we're fine with weirdness. :)
