As d'Artagnan was coming from the stables, he noticed her. Granted, he would have noticed her were she not his ... what was the term she'd used? 'girlfriend'? ... but he definitely did notice her now. Her clothes were ... well, he was used to women wearing more, it was true.

Regardless, he walked up with a warm smile.

"Hey you." Zoe smiled when she saw him, wiping the crumbs from her lips. "Can you join me?" She moved her packages from the empty seat to the floor.

"Of course," he said, coming closer, bending to kiss her cheek first, then taking a seat. "You are enjoying the change in weather. (As that, surely, would explain her lack of clothing.)

"I am. It's one of my favorite times of the year. It's not so hot that you kind of melt into the sidewalk." Zoe held out one of the pastry goodness, "plus it's Passover time and yum food. Want to try one?"
