I have no clue about G.I. JOe, I didn't even know it was based on something, but I saw the trailer. And if you have a whole cinma laughing because it was so ridiculous... I can't imagine it will go well here... *lol*

As a comic book/cartoon/toy movie, I didn't have a lot of expectations. It was like going to see Transformers 2 - I was expecting lots of explosions, pretty fight scenes, and plenty of posing/promo shots/random gear to push the toys. And it was just... wow. Yeah.

So if y'all aren't even familiar with GI Joe? This movie will absolutely fail. The movie will only survive here based on all the kids that loved it growing up!

hesitant as I would be to watch this movie (though I suppose I should be grateful they didn't BTK dino riders...yet)...as you wish for leverage/gijoe fic, I'll see what i can do.

:purrs: See, the way I figure, you can only improve the plot of the movie by handing it to the Leverage team. They'd have gotten the info they need faster and kicked a lot more ass. And Hardison totally looks better in the scarf :giggles:

Mmm Dino Riders. There's a happy piece of childhood... And have you heard? They're going to poke at a live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles again. :sighs:

I guess we should be glad Jared wasn't able to be in the movie. At least, I'm glad, because it means I don't have to see it!

Goddess and ya know cuz I told the kid I'd see this...I still think I have to see this...I need...damn I wanna and I don't wanna now...the kid is a good excuse right?

I need to read this to bama...he'll laugh.

I think you can probably enjoy it okay now that you know to not have any expectations whatsoever. Probably. :coughs: You can try, right? I mean, it's a fast paced movie, I was surprised at the time when we got out of the theater cos I couldn't believe it had actually been that long.

The kid's always a good excuse! hehe
