Birthday stuff and Garmin being awesome

Pardon this somewhat commercial post, but I felt that I had to share that when I had some issues with my "smart pedals" on the bike, as well as having some issues with my fitness watch, Garmin went through a reasonable evaluation checklist to confirm it was in fact broken, and then sent me back "new" replacements for each ( Read more... )

Always good to hear when a corporation steps upto the plate like that ^v^ .... I've only had two Garmins and neither has broken, so I haven't experienced their committment factor.

*sneaks over to install heating coils beneath your driveway in case of that snow...*

In fact I have thought about heating coils as well as getting a few rolls of that giant "landscape fabric" that they sometimes use on highway embankments to keep the soil stable while excavating or planting new grass. Then just lift it up and dump the snow off to the side. I'm sure in reality it's not that simple but like......
