As soon as I saw the challenge I knew I wanted to do an update of a Jane Austen novel, but I couldn't think of which one would fit with the Leverage characters. And then I realized that Eliot was totally Colonel Brandon! And Parker would make a perfect Marianne! Only that meant poor Hardison had to be Willoughby, which I feel kind of bad about. But they got to have the duel! And Sophie was Elinor! And Bunny could be Mrs. Dashwood! If it wasn't for the word limit I would have included this whole Maggie/Nate/Sophie = Lucy/Edward/Elinor storyline, but I didn't have room for it. Alas!

Oh, this was yours? Somehow, I want to go back and read the book again - and then I will have Eliot and Parker in my head, lol.

I'm not a big fan of the canon couples, although I was a bit sad Hardison had to be how he was. But that's just how it had to be.
