This is so lovely and perfect. I especially loved this:
He thinks he might love her and doesn’t care if she doesn’t love him in return. He can pine away quietly. Or not so quietly, depending on his mood. Either way there is something poetic about it, looking and never touching, loving but never saying. It feels like something the Doctor would do.
