NOMNOMNOM the food looks so good! ;_; And is that one of those awesome organic farms where kids can go and learn about farming and animals and stuff? AWESOME.
I'm thrilled you like the Cafe Yuka recipes enough to try them out, and I think you should totally take photos of the mochi and the nikuman once you've made them. (Those two actually looked the most enticing to me--and the lavender tea cookies! And the quinoa pilaf, but I think it needs a protein of some sort..? I have no idea what quinoa tastes like.) The stuffed dumpling squash you made looks delicious, so much so that I want to try making that rice pilaf recipe tonight ... but I don't have any of the ingredients at the moment. x( Same thing with the muffins! They turned out great. How did they taste?
I never much liked the taste of quinoa. Since I can't really have wheat (those muffins are wheat-free with brown rice flour, tapioca flour, and potato starch), I have to look for a lot of alternatives. it might be good, though, I do want to try it. pilaf is just delicious. X) I love it.
MUFFINS ARE AWESOME. Lins came upstairs to taste the batter, and went dead silent because it was so amazingly good. They're between apple/pumpkin muffins with dates, raisins and walnuts. I think I'm making another batch.
ISN'T IT. It's so small and cute. I'm very very happy to be getting our veggies from there.
