OMG i LOVE the Reduced Shakespeare Co. i actually have that on my netflix list. LOL i saw it ages ago on TV and wanted to see it again.

I really like him. I remember watching the tv show "Neverwhere" he did for the BBC years ago and enjoying it. Although I don't think he was too happy with the way they did it. I've read a few of his books and comics since then and enjoyed them all. He's also a major fan of Doctor Who as I posted to halfrek2

Yes he wrote the Sandman comics. Although there have been other characters called the Sandman in DC comic's history the ones you've heard of are by Neil Gaiman. Anansi Boys is good. I haven't read or seen Stardust but I hope to do so soon.

thanks for the linkage. i have not actually read any of his stuff. i have watched that recent movie, Stardust, and liked it but not really enough to pick up one of his books. that said, he seems to be entertaining in his blog...one day, maybe i will read something by him.

Of the books I've read by him I would say American Gods is my favourite novel. I'm actually reading the novelisation of Neverwhere at the moment.

I read this and wet myself!
I was dying. I could even hear it in his scots accent.
Wonder what accent he will use for Hamlet?
I must do more research!
