On one hand it's less travel (between home games) and all the annoyances that come with it. On the other, this is almost reaching Guardiola-player stalking territory. If I was a player I'd get annoyed with the weekly redundancy (and seeing the same attractive faces over and over again), and being away from my family and friends. Ancelotti is staying there with his GF until he finds a place, how cute.
"56 rooms each with a terrace, hot tub for every bathroom, pool (perfect for a midnight skinny dipping sausage fest), terrace overlooking training pitch, movie theater, game room" Puts my house to shame. I wonder who's going to be the first to get in trouble for spamming the wifi with porn.
Hm I kind of had the same worries about it being a bit too much... But then I thought the 9-19 schedule was only for preseason training when they have two sessions a day, and then for matchday preps? Does anyone know more about that? Otherwise it'd be a real change for those who have family and kids.. and those who simply need some time to not think about football and relax
Yeah, it's a little... much. When I first read about it I thought it was supposed to be a replacement for the concentration hotel the night before matches, which sounds nice, but this whole "You can live here with us, we will take care of all your needs. Outside world? What outside world?" thing sounds weird. Then again, if they're there from 9am - 7pm I guess it isn't that different from a regular job, but with exponentially greater handsomeness.
