That appears to be my threshold, at least for the time being. I started feeling just a little winded very early on, still I pushed it and made it all the way through the 20 minutes. Still, I was watching the clock constantly. Perhaps it was my choice of music--the Death Star escape, which does kind of ebb and flow at points. Maybe if I switch it up ( Read more... ) -
A couple of firsts
Yesterday, the first meal Susan's Mom made specifically for the two of us. It was awesomely delicious and I really love how accepted I feel.

Spookiness!!!!
No real way to prove or disprove this, but today Susan and I separately devised the same idea of what to do with the leftover chicken I made last night. This is a curiously satisfying feeling, and the best I've felt all day. :-)

Smoked Salmon Tortelloni
Suzie seemed more than a little stressed today. Her job was getting the better of her, for sure. She wasn't eating properly, and even through her texts I could tell she was fading. So Suzie linked me up with some blog posts she'd done 6 years ago. If I were to give her a representative sampling of my writing from around the same time, it'd be fanboy posts on theforce.net. Which is not to say either one is inherently more or less significant than the other, but you do get a more insightful peek into her headspace with hers.
