Thanks Tony for the fun weekend, boy, I really needed it.
I met Rey and Tim up in Williams for lunch and we took the scenic route through Hwy 175 to get to Tony's. I enjoyed seeing everyone who I missed since Badger 50th. Told a lot of stories and drank a lot of beer and slept well. I awoke to the beautiful sunrise emerging through the tree canopy ( Read more... )

I had made fiberglass horns for Mike and I which I did not use because I could not figure out how to attach them. Of course, leave it to QBT to provide a forum for the discussion on attaching realistic horns.

Mine were strips of fiberglass held over a shaped 1/4 inch metal mesh with string.

Glad you had a good time! Truth be known, though, pizza is easy. Fifteen minutes the night before to mix the dough, and the prep takes three hours to make 36 pizzas. The oven was built over the course of a few weekends by some engineering students that just did it for fun. They'd never done masonry before and all we did was provide the materials and commit to hauling it off if it proved to be a spectacular failure. Which it didn't.

And I'll tell you, gay men make much better pizzas than drunk rednecks. Less supervision required.

I suffer from dough rise and texture fail. It appears I have to punch down the dough a couple times, not just once, and I think I have to knead it more. My texture was crumbly, biscuit like and flat. Your pizza tutorials were great though, and the internship was tasty.
