Herald Contest.
Gundam Herald Contest/Challenge.
Interest is high and so I have to flesh out this idea a bit it seems lol.
As Herald is a site for anything and everything Gundam Wing then that's what this contest is going to be about. Over the month of February I'll be coding Herald as usual, posting up new fiction, updated fiction, art, music videos, and anything else for Gundam Wing.
Those posts will be the entries into this contest.
Category 1 - Name Repetition
How many times can you get your name up on Herald over February? It doesn't matter the length of the story, it can be a fifty word drabble or a fiction behemoth. ;) Canny people will have noticed that I post up the same name under different headings for new fiction/updated fiction/art so I could count people more than once in a single issue. Also if the same person posts two new fics up on the same day, they're condensed down to one mention. I have a feeling this will also come down to who can play the issues the best
Category 2 - Word Count
This is because I know that counting a fifty word drabble and a fiction behemoth together might be a bit unequal. This category is for the person who achieves the highest total word count over the month of February. This can be just one single fic posted up, or a collaboration of all the ficlets/drabbles together.

Important Note
In an effort to be fair to people here... there are a LOT of gundam wing communities out there. I'm sure that I'm only monitoring a fraction of them on herald and so if I collect the fics or art off the communities to be included in the contest I'll be missing a lot of people out.
Therefore, for a fic or a piece of art to be included in the tally, I'm going to ask that it be posted on your personal lj. You're still free to post it to any community you wish, as long as I can find it on a personal post as well.
There are a number of ways I can find personal posts. g_herald is a good way. Place a comment in this post and I can have g_herald friend your lj and see public posts that way. Alternatively you can friend g_herald or (if you'd like to) friend natea21.
If neither of these appeal to you then by all means you can email me a link on my regular email address natea4
Hopefully I've posted up the major points here. If there are things I've missed or that you're unsure about, let me know and I'll do my best to fix it :D.

- The challenge will start on February 1st at 12:01AM EST and run through to 11:59PM EST on February 29th.
- No reposted fics or art. To be counted in this contest it should be unposted anywhere previously.
- Updated chapters in fics that are already in progress will be counted but the previous chapters will not.
- There is no maximum or minimum length for an entry, drabbles are just as welcome as multichaptered stories.
- Any pairing, any rating, any warning goes. This isn't about what you write or draw it's just about getting more gundam wing fiction and art out there.
- People will be entered into both categories... there is no need to pick only one of the two.
- There will be a prize for each category.
