Just to let everyone know, Firerose is now home and starting the long road to recovery. Final injury count is 1 broken ankle, 3 cracked ribs, a slightly yanked arm/shoulder, and a wee bit of road rash on her arm and knee. Ok, we moved. Found the cat. I think I forgot to pack the coffin for the funeral. Must remember to save one box.

Searched house, no sign of cat. Doesn't smell funny anymore either.

Milk went bad, fount it holding up the potato salad with a steak knife and demanding lunch money.

Cleaning out fridge for party, thought cat was in here. Guess not.

Must find dead cat, house is starting to smell funny.

Forgot milk, found dead cat in fridge. Must hold funeral for cat.

Well as I slowly re-awaken from a rather annoying overnight gig I have found that FireRose (AKA the car-hood-surfer) has not only expressed the desire to make dinner, but she has also done some of the dishes. Other than that I am slowly getting settled in in my new dwelling.
