I've been experimenting - it seems if enough of their bodies are closely littered and there's no visible 'food' about, the creatures will avoid that area.

Really. That's good to know.

I assume it's an instinctive reaction to the mass death scent of their own. Bad smell + no food = self-preservation.

Created a 'wall' around the Station earlier this afternoon. None of the creatures have tired breaching it. The downside is having to put up with the stench of rotting seafood.

Makes sense.

Good- I'd rather not have ...whatever these things are making a mess of the office.

I'm glad to hear it. Keep alert and stay safe. Whatever has come out of the sea is... definitely not related to whatever species these smaller ones are.

I'm well hidden, don't worry.

It doesn't look it, as much of a judge as I can be.

It isn't. It smells different.

We've got as much of the area sealed off as we can.

Good; need backup? I can move closer.

The other creatures are staying away for now. Don't think they like the smell either.

I think we're alright. You make it alright so far?

Nothing like having competing monsters running around.

I'm fine, I've been out of the way.

There appears to be two of them. For the moment we're holding at the tree line.

Lovely. I've got line of sight clearance to the forest edge, so I'll just stay put, and keep the smaller things away from you.

Hopefully they won't decide to join forces.

They appear to be fighting each other. If we're really lucky they'll take each other out without our intervention. And if not... well, the 'we fight building sized monsters for fun' contingent is gathering on the beach as we speak.

So I see. Stay out of their way as much as possible, but don't worry about things sneaking up behind you.
