Sigh. Well, I cracked. In 5-8 business days I'll be the proud owner of a Kindle Fire HD. The temptation to always have something portable to work/goof off on was just too much. I take solace in the fact that I managed to use the same iphone for 5.5 years - not a bad run.

It's currently my favorite gadget.

I can even run powerpoint presentations off of it.
