I saw no headlines on this on MSNBC or CNN today. I know Egypt is big news, but it's funny that gay rights are now such a "routine" news item as to not even merit highlighting anymore.

I live in IL and it did make the TV news programs locally :) I was very happy to see it. It is disappointing that its not quite all the same rights as marriage but at least it is something legally recognizable!
