Doing 'research'...

Sarah let the attic door wing shut behind them, and she gave the Doctor an innocent look.

"So what was it you wanted to take a look at, Doctor? I think there's quite a few things here you haven't had a chance to examine yet. Is there anything in particular that takes your fancy?"

Sarah was a bit aggressive in her kisses, and the Doctor found himself to be a bit ruffled as he stepped back into the attic after her. He was very, very bad at seduction just...in general, and was still rather astounded that she'd been so very attracted to him for so long and he hadn't noticed.

"You know he didn't buy that, right?" he said, smirking a bit, "Which is...probably for the best, I think. Might've wanted to see a dinosaur claw and have I always been that bad at making up excuses?"

Sarah's eyes widened "You mean you didn't come up here to do research, Doctor?" she teased. God, she wasn't normally this...obvious. Well, at least she could blame the scotch. A nervous feeling gripped her that maybe he'd actually come up here to give her a polite refusal.

He raised an eyebrow and gave her a slightly wider smirk, "Is that what you were planning, Sarah? Because I wouldn't want to be one to stop a healthy dose of prehistorical research, it's always been one of my favorite pasttimes..."

As he spoke, he walked towards her until he could properly invade her personal space and, hopefully, give off the impression that he was most certainly not interested in research. Well, not of any dinosaur bones.

"I was just thinking of you, Doctor," she murmured huskily. "I mean, you're not going to be here for very long. You should just...take what you want."

He was so close, close enough that she could feel his breath on her skin. She felt her eyes flutter shut as his fingers trailed across her mouth. She opened it slightly and teased his fingertip with his tongue, smiling, her eyes still shut.
