"Left for dead. Heaven is only in my head."

Yes, it's true. Blood Oranges has received a glowing blurb from the witch who Willow Rosenberg went down on. Amber Benson says, In the conjuring of Blood Oranges, Caitlin R. Kiernan has created a pedal to the metal, balls to the wall female antihero who doesn't give a damn if you like her or not...which totally made me love her. So, I don't know. ( Read more... )

sales, rp, good movies, amazon, cox, fay grimmer, mosasaurs, blood oranges, alabaster, blurbs, then vs. now

I snorted a drink at the line "'nacho cheese' and antiseptic spray." Thank you for making a crappy rain day a bit better.

Moving from a city with a great selection of real theaters, many beautifully restored to their original glory (Minneapolis), to a small town with nothing but a mall multiplex has been difficult. "The Master" isn't showing anywhere in the entire *state* where I live, and probably won't ever come to a big screen in my town... even if it gets nominated for a zillion Oscars. You nailed the smell.

Sorry. That well and truly sucks.

You nailed the smell.

At least my nose works.

I don't claim to be a "fine" artist; but, I'll give it a shot.

Hi Caitlín. That Amber Benson thing reminds me … do you mind if I quote the full text of your original Bad Glass blurb on my webpage (the unedited, non-condensed version)? I think it’s cooler and more descriptive than what ended up on the cover (although that’s still super-cool, and I wouldn’t trade it for all the Amber Bensons in the world). Thanks!

Pre-ordered one copy of Alabaster: Wolves and am pre-ordering another as a gift to the friend who got me into Alabaster: I just have to figure out Amazon's convoluted gift-pre-ordering system.

Edited to fix borken HTML tag.

Thank you...

And I love "borken." A favorite new word.

:: laughs gently:: "Borken" is a favorite word of mine, too! It began its existence as a typo in my RP group's chat room. I was bitching humorously about trying to fix the coding on our group's wiki and how it was "horribly borken", which got everyone laughing and commenting on how appropriate that typo was!
